About Fantasy Hobby

A handmade journey of learning, creating, and sharing.

I started crocheting before I even had the right tools.

As a child, I watched adults knitting sweaters.
I didn’t have knitting needles, so I used tree branches and tried to make my own gloves.

I didn’t know it at the time, but that was my first connection with handmade craft.

In 2012, during my pregnancy, I discovered crochet through online videos.

With no formal training, I started learning on my own — one stitch at a time.

What began as curiosity slowly became something much deeper.

Over time, I began creating my own projects — including crochet flowers and designs I couldn’t find in the market.

In 2018, I opened a small online shop where I made and sold handmade items.

It was meaningful, but also demanding.

Eventually, I shifted to selling materials, and later stepped away from the business.

But crochet never really left my life.

What I enjoy most is not just making things, but thinking about them — improving ideas, understanding materials, and sharing what I learn.

Fantasy Crochet was created as a space to share this journey.

A place for beginners, makers, and anyone who enjoys the quiet rhythm of handmade work.

I’m based in Shenzhen, where I’ve met many crochet friends who continue to inspire me and share this handmade journey together.
